Jeffrey S. Gard, Esq., is a trial lawyer specializing in criminal defense, business disputes and serious injury cases. Jeff is a Colorado native and a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law. He has litigated hundreds of cases, many through trial, in both state and federal courts. He also successfully has litigated and argued cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court.

Jeff is a Colorado native and a Cum Laude Philosophy graduate from the University of Colorado, where he also was elected Phi Beta Kappa. the country's oldest and most respected honor society. At the University of Colorado School of Law, Jeff placed first in a multi-state moot court competition and was the recipient of the William DeSouchet Scholarship for best individual performance in trial advocacy. After graduation, he accepted position and later became a partner with Sanderson & Associates, P.C. (later Sanderson & Gard, L.L.P.), a respected firm in Boulder, Colorado where he and his partner, David Sanderson, tried several notable cases.

Jeff is a hard-nosed litigator whose tenacity perhaps is best exemplified in the case Corbetta v. Albertsons and Fresh Express, Inc., Arapahoe County District Court, Case # 97CV1063. The case involved a professional woman who was injured as a result of biting into a rock in a salad sold at a Denver area grocery store. Before trial, the Defendants made an offer of $1.00 to settle the case. Jeff took the case to trial and eventually secured a judgment of $65,000. The Defendants appealed and Jeff successfully argued the case before the Colorado Court of Appeals, thereby securing a final settlement of $85,000.

Jeff is a nationally recognized litigator and lecturer on the subject of carbon monoxide induced brain injury. In the fall of 2000, Jeff joined forces with prominent carbon monoxide researcher, professor and author Dr. David Penney, and respected neuropsychologist, Dr. Dennis Helffenstein, to teach lawyers and medical professionals how to successfully litigate carbon monoxide induced brain injury cases.

Jeff served two terms as the co-chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Boulder County Bar Association, where he recently received special recognition for prompt and conscientious performance. Jeff is a member of the Faculty of Federal Advocates, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado and Boulder Criminal Defense Bars.

Anna E. V. Bond, Esq. Anna E. V. Bond

Anna E.V. Bond is a trial lawyer specializing in family law and civil litigation.  Anna is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law, where she served as the Student Bar Association President.  Ms. Bond confidently handles a variety of family law matters including, divorce, child custody, parenting time, etc.  She also handles an array of civil matters including, injury cases, business disputes, civil rights and the like. 

Ms. Bond was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She attended Mary Baldwin College graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. While at Mary Baldwin College Ms. Bond served as the president of the Student Alumnae Partnership Committee. Ms. Bond was also nominated for and became a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership and honor society. Ms. Bond also served on the judicial board, was a member of the swim team and of the President's Society. Ms. Bond was a student speaker at the Virginia Association of Independent College Presidents Annual Meeting and was a Big Sister in the Big Brother/Big Sister program in Staunton, Virginia.

After graduating from Mary Baldwin College, Ms. Bond worked for the Japan Exchange in Teaching Programme in Fukuoka, Japan. There Ms. Bond taught English in the local junior high school as well as in the two local elementary schools. Ms. Bond also taught an English Conversation class at the community center in the town of Asakura where she worked and lived.

Ms. Bond is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law where she was elected President of the Student Bar Association. She also served as the student member of the Dean's Search Committee and was a student representative for Westlaw. Ms. Bond was the 2003 recipient of the King award for outstanding leadership and service to the school. Ms. Bond also participated in the Civil Legal Aid Clinic where she represented indigent women regarding dissolution of marriage proceedings and child custody issues and handled disability appeals. Ms. Bond was a summer intern at the Attorney General's office.

Ms. Bond is a member of the Boulder County Bar Association and of the Colorado Bar Association.
